Responding to COVID-19

Dominican University continues to monitor infection rates and impact on the campus community. Here are some recent updates to our policies:
- COVID-19 vaccines are strongly recommended but not required for members of the campus community. Documentation of vaccines is no longer required.
- While not required, we encourage mask-wearing should you havesymptomssuggestive of COVID-19. There will be antigen COVID tests available for students by appointment in the Wellness Center.
- Following the currentCDC recommendations, if you test positive for COVID you must isolate for a minimum of 5 days. If symptoms are improved and you are without fever you can leave isolation wearing a tight-fitting mask through day 10 of your infection.
- If you test positive for COVID, please report via theCOVID tracker. A DU staff member will provide you with additional guidance to comply with isolation requirements.
DU will continue to monitor developments and rely on guidance from medical professionals and the CDC as we update our protocols and procedures.
