All visitors—those people without an active Dominican Star Card (campus ID)—must register their presence at a Welcome and Information Desk (WID) location and receive a pass for the day. Guest lecturers and individuals invited to campus for the enrichment of classes must have sponsorship from program directors or deans. Current students, faculty and staff, please meet your guests at a WID location.

River Forest Campus

Main Campus

Dominican’s 30-acre main campus is located in River Forest, a beautiful suburb 10 miles west of downtown Chicago. Classes are also offered at the Dominican Priory campus in River Forest as well as other sites in the Chicago area.

Dominican University is proud to be atobacco-free campus.

Campus Shuttle Service and Public Transportation

Dominican’s shuttle service runs Monday through Friday evenings. Public transportation options include CTA Bus #90 and Pace Route 307 and Route 318, which stop at the Priory campus.

Parking

Visitor parking is available as indicated on the attached campus map. Dominican students, faculty and staff who want to park their cars on campus need to purchase parking permits. Information can be found onMyDU.

Offering Master of Social Work (MSW) courses. The School of Education, School of Information Studies, School of Social Work and College of Applied Social Sciences offer classes here.
