Attending the SI Expo

Classes are suspended on April 12, 2023, allowing for a day of celebration and exchange of ideas within our community. We will focus on our Dominican students, mentored by an extraordinary faculty, as they engage in the pursuit of truth and knowledge. The 2023 SI Expo is open to all Dominican students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and families.

Presenting at the SI Expo

All current students (undergraduate or graduate) from all Dominican University departments and programs are invited to present their research, scholarship, creative projects, or experiential learning. The SI Expo showcases students’ best work from a broad range of disciplines in different formats: panels, posters, and oral presentations (15-minute or 30-minute talks).

Application Process for Presenters

Prior to applying, students are asked to work with their faculty/staff mentor or sponsor to finalize their application and receive approval for submission. The submission requires a 100–150-word description/abstract of the proposed work.

*Applications are closed for the 2023 SI Expo.
